Historical
Escadrille 8S-3 was born
on February 1, 1940 in Dakar under the orders of Lieutenant DE-BOISLISLE.
Its equipment, Loire 130, is delivered by boat and reassembled on
site.
The unit is responsible for
coastal surveillance mission, above Dakar. The missions will continue
until the Armistice.
