Historical

The GB II/23 Bombardment Group was created in October 1936 at the Toulouse base.
Initially equipped with Bloch MB 20s, then MB 210s from April 1938, it received its first Lioré & Olivier LéO 45s in February 1940.

On May 10, 1940, GB II / 23 belongs to Group No. 7 of the Southeast Bombardment Aviation Training Group of the ZOAA (Alpine Air Operations Area).
