Historical

Defense Patrols are trained to defend aircraft manufacturing plants or protect strategic sites. The Chateaudun Defense Patrol is part of the Patrol Group N ° 1: Chartres / Chateaudun / Etampes / Orléans.

Officially created on May 12, 1940, the Chateaudun Patrol has been in existence since March. It was set up according to a local initiative to protect the EAA301 and the Chateaudun base. It consists of pilot conveyors.
