Historical

Defense Patrols are created to defend aircraft manufacturing plants or protect strategic sites. The Patrol Defense Patrol is part of the Patrol Group N ° 1: Chartres / Chateaudun / Etampes / Orléans.

Its staff is composed mainly of Czech Pilots, and pilots of the CIC of Chartres. Pilots frequently change assignments to feed Combat Fighter Groups. Some just go on a mission.

The equipment of the Patrol is for the least heteroclite, since composed of Bloch 152 / Morane 406 / Dewoitie D500 or Belgian Fiat CR42 ...

The planes will be evacuated towards the south, Toulouse in particular, and will be thus in free zone.
