Defense Patrols are trained to defend aircraft manufacturing plants or protect strategic sites.

That of Avord is responsible for protecting the facilities of the Pilot School Avord. The official instructions for the creation of this Patrol are issued on May 15th, 1940.

The staff of this unit is composed of French Pilots belonging to the Pilot School, and 5 Morane MS406 are at their disposal.
