Assigned to the squadron AC-2 : Assigned to the AC-2 Squadron: During a combat training on October 20th, 1939, the Dewoitine D373 piloted by Petty Officer Jean VIENSNo15 collides with the Dewoitine D373 piloted by Master BILLOTET. The latter managed to parachute out and was unhurt, but Petty Officer VIENS, unable to evacuate his aircraft, crashed to the ground.
