The Fleet was created on June
15, 1940 and was to be composed of the Bombing Squadrons (B-2,
B-3, B-4,...) being transformed on the Gleen-Martin 167F purchased
from the United States. But only 3B Squadron had time to be
equipped before the Armistice, but too late for the flotilla
to have any role in the conflict.
