Air Observation Group GAO II/551


Historical

On May 10, 1940, GAO II / 551 is attached to the 9th Army of the 1st Air Division of the ZOAN (North Air Operations Area).

The GAO 2/551 is practically reduced to nothing on May 10th and 11th, 1940, after the bombardments of the airfield of Tournes-Belval by the Germans,. It folds on May 13 on the ground Bulgny with a Mureaux and Potez 63-11 on the eleven aircrafts in staffing before May 10.
