The aircraft made its first flight on June 12, 1937. Called "Chief Pilot L. GUERRERO", and piloted by Paul CODOS, he participated in record attempts, such as the race Istres-Damascus-Paris on August 20, 1937. In September 1939, it is remilitarized by the addition of modern radio equipment and camouflage. On November 9, 1939, it was destroyed on takeoff when it was to be used by Naval Aviation to track down German privateers.

Assigned to GB I/15. First Farman F223 production aircraft. Made its first flight on 10 January 1940. Assigned to GB II/15 on 24 May 1940. After the Armistice, it was transferred to Air France with a civilian registration (F-BAFM), and was modified to carry 8 passengers. It flew between France and Lebanon. It was then taken over by the Free French Forces and was not ferried until 1945, after its return to France.

Assigned to GB II / 15 on May 24, 1940. Replicated in AFN in June 1940. Present in Thelepte (Tunisia) on July 2. It is then transferred to WG II / 15. This aircraft has the nickname "Sub-Lieutenant CASSE". Participates in the Syrian campaign in July 1941. Abandoned on site after a breakdown, it is recovered by the Free French Forces.
