Some feats of arm
On 18 June 1940, during a ground protection mission on a triple GC I/1 patrol, CaptainWCZELIK attacked a DO17 from the front with his two teammates, Chief Warrant Officer DELEGAY and Sergeant MARKIEWICZ leader. The right engine fires immediately and the enemy aircraft begins to lose altitude. After three more passes by Chief Warrant Officer DELEGAY, the disabled aircraft sinks into the sea. On the Rochefort base, a plaque was put in place in memory of this glorious action and the two Polish pilots having participated.
