- The balance may seem low but it was obtained on an old and not very efficient equipment. The first Dewoitine D520 will appear in unit only from June 1940, too late to improve the efficiency of the 4 Fighter Squadrons : AC1 - AC2 - AC3 and AC4. The AC5, miose in place just before the Armistice, did not have time to intervene in the conflict.
